Counter Strike Buddhist Monks
Ok, I was looking around for news on any new games that are coming out soon but somehow ended up finding something else that I just HAD to post here.
Apparently in China there is a certain Buddhist temple that sits next door to an Internet Cafe. The monks that live at the temple are, in following with the Buddhist religion, not allowed to partake in violent acts, drink alcohol, eat meat, or get married, but the simulated violence in video games does not break any of their rules. So When the Monks have some free time you can usually find them next door pwning up some n00bs at CS
The CS monks are reportedly mostly the younger generation of monks in their teens and early twenties and can be found in the Labrang Monastery, located in Xiahe County in China’s Gansu province.
So if your playing some CS but don't know how your getting pwn'd so hard, your opponents might just have spent years meditating and have unbreakable concentration and ultra fast reflexes... you might have just got awped by a monk!
