X3: Terran Conflict
This is it, the next instalment of the greatest space game ever made is coming!
From Egosoft's own X3 forums have come the first news on the next installment of the X Universe story:
"Games Developer Egosoft and Koch Media have announced the conclusion of an exclusive publishing and distribution agreement for the title X³: Terran Conflict."
X3: Terran Conflict is a completely new stand-alone game which will encompass the current X3 Universe as well as having a "grand finale that takes us all the way back to Earth's own solar system."
I was very excited reading this news as the X Universe is basically a part of my life, X3 is by far the best space game ever made and one of the top 3 overall games I have ever played on any platform or genre. I started playing X games just after X2: The Threat came out and haven't stopped playing since.
I was happy to read that this new installment will have "the largest X universe ever featured" and it "will offer more missions than any other X game before."
X³: Terran Conflict is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2008.
