Need For Speed: Undercover
A teaser has just been released for the upcoming next instalment of what is one of the most popular game series' to ever be released so I figured it would be a good time to go and search up on any information I can find on Need For Speed: Undercover.
First of all there is the quite unique and cool website that they have set up for the game called which road to take .com. The entire site is actually an interactive camera view of an ongoing interrogation. The amazing thing is the more you watch it, the more you notice things going on, the wierdest of which being that a large portion of the interigation actualy happens twice but with the two characters swapped around. This has been discussed on a few forums around and the main thoughts are that from seeing this and noting that in the teaser it says "Which road will you take, which line will you cross" you will most likely be playing an Undercover cop in the game but you will have the opportunity to change rolls and go to the other side during the story, quite possibly even creating multiple endings to the game.
Also the footage is actually interactive and you can click on certain things in the room to access them, sometimes only at certain times in the footage.
The end of the trailer has the date November 18 2008. This date can be verified as the official release date as it is also marked in the calendar in the interrogation room on the web site with the words "DROP DATE".
